The movie is told ala Princess Bride, a young boy listening to an ancient Tonto in a side show. The story told by Tonto is of course a little different but not much; however I don’t remember the part of Helena Bonham Carter’s ivory leg in the TV series. Please note the Lone Ranger ONLY shoots the guns out of the bad guys hands.
A lot of the critics have panned this movie. In our theater there was applause at the end. Well deserved, I say – go to this movie!
