Awesome adventure. You will be on the edge of your seat for the whole two plus hours. The descent of Thorin into madness is wholly believable, be wary of dragon gold.
Every time a new army hits the battlefield you will wonder how the “good guys” can rally. The heart breaking end of Tauriel’s story line will leave you weeping. It is not what you expect at all. If all the unfinished story lines bother you, read the book! It is only 300 pages long. Spoiler alert Tauriel is not in the book.
This satisfactorily finishes the Hobbit saga. Now head into the north and find Strider.
