The Revenant

(according to Webster’s – one who returns from the dead)
Must Go
A beautifully filmed story about Hugh Glass who was buried and left for dead. The story although not strictly true, He did not kill the two who left him; but did collect his rifle. Leonardo Di Caprio should nail the Oscar for this film and Tom Hardy as John Fritzgerald deserves the best supporting actor. This is one of the earliest stories I remember about Mountain Man Jim Bridger played by Will Pouter, a very up and coming actor (see We’re the Millers).
‘The Revenant’ is visual poetry of the most primal kind, go but bring your coat – it’s freezing out there.
