Fiddler on the Roof

Must Go
Seattle Musical Theatre
WoW, this was incredible. I did not expect to like this so much having just seen the movie. Larry Albert as Tevye really owned the role. All the singers were very good. The staging was phenomenal. Instead of relying on props they pantomime most of the props. Yes, you did believe that was a real plate and glass. The bottle dance did have real bottles. How they keep them on their heads I can only guess. The only weak part were the Cossack dancers, but very few people could even attempt to squat and thrust their legs out. The dream sequence, always one of the best parts, was extremely well done.
