The most important thing to know about this movie is EAT BEFORE YOU GO! The food looks incredible.
This is a simple story with solid performances mostly by Indian actors. Om Puri (Papa) and Mansh Dayal (Hassan) and a large family who run a restaurant and finally end up in France after Mama was killed in India and they did not care for England. Their van brakes down in a small French village and they set up shop across from Madam Mallory’s (Helen Mirren) one Michelin star restaurant.
This is a very enjoyable movie. GO!
