For viewers with coulrophobia – beware! That’s a fear of clowns and if you don’t know if you have a fear of clowns, you WILL know after you see this film. Bill Skarsgard’s take on Pennywise the Clown is a masterful interpretation, delivered for a twenty first century audience that’s been desensitized by over the top gore and horror of recent vintage.
I did not think that SWMBO would like this but I was wrong. There were only three jump in my lap moments the rest was masterful creepy.
Honorable mention creepy clown movie: Killer Clowns from Outer Space.

Valley of Bones

“Valley of Bones” is a visually stunning and chilling watch.
Set in the badlands of North Dakota, and focusing on a struggling paleontologist (Autumn Reeser) and a drug dealer (Steven Molony) motivated to exchange a fossil for his life, the premise of the film is very unique. The film highlights paleontology, North Dakota, and the western thriller genre.
The film was really well shot and the music fit the film’s grit so well. The film’s strongest aspects were definitely the sound and camera-work.
So why is Nate’s name “Sonofabitch” on Anna’s phone when Nate is like, the nicest guy?

This is a special film with a real-world case study of students looking for a way up, and of those looking to provide the necessary boost.
