The Jungle Book

MUST GO
Best movie I have seen in a long time.
I broke two of my movie rules attending this one.
Rule One – never see 3 D, give me a headache. WRONG this should be seen in 3D if only to watch She Who Must Be Obeyed jump out of her seat three times.
Rule Two – never stay for the ending credits. I mean who cares about the best boy? However they were replaying Christopher Walken singing ( yes him!) “I wanna be like you”. Who could walk out on that.
The damn glasses prevent you from covertly wiping the tears from your eyes. When Rashka ( his wolf mother ) tells Mowgli ( brilliantly played by Neel Sethi) she will always love her cub. I could not control myself.
So do yourself a favor and go see this movie.

Hello, My Name is Doris

Go
I like it, I really really liked it!
Academy Award winner, Sally Field proves that she still has the charm and charisma at this stage in life, to headline a young hip movie.
It is also a cautionary tale about what happens to women who give up their life to nurse a parent. Probably the most selfish thing a parent can do to their child.
It’s familiar and refreshing all at the same time. A funny and enjoyable film.

Hardcore Harry

No Go
Boring, confusing and uninteresting. I’m willing to bet that most of the people that walked out was because of motion sickness. I walked out because I was going to barf.

Batman v Superman

Must Go
I liked this movie. Almost did not go because of the low ratings by people who should know better. Okay, maybe because my girlfriend Amy Adams, Lois Lane, is in it.
I liked Lex Luther and the appearance of Wonder Woman brought tears to my eyes. The battle is epic and the story is so so. This is obviously an introduction to the Justice League with cameo appearances of Aquaman and Flash. Finally DC comics is getting off its butt and is going to compete with Marvel. Watch out Stan Lee.
