A Walk in the Woods

Go
It’s a delightful funny film filled with veteran actors (Nick Nolte, Robert Redford, Mary Steenburgen, and Emma Thompson).
Truly, Kristen Schaal as Mary Ellen is the annoying, obnoxious fellow traveler whom talks endlessly and knows all, that brings the most to her small, albeit scene stealing role.
Nick Nolte, is great in his portrayal of an overweight alcoholic who volunteers to join Robert Redford on a trek of the Appalachian Trail. I can relate.
So go on – take A Walk in the Woods, and expect nothing but a consistently pleasant experience. Watch out for bears!

Ant-Man

Go
Marvel has surpassed my expectations and turned something I thought would be lame and uninteresting into something hilarious and actually pretty cool.  Ant-Man is a founding member of The Avengers. His fight with Falcon is priceless.
Who would have expected that a movie named “Ant-Man” would be…well…good. But this is. The movie is probably the funniest Marvel Universe movie to date, but that’s not to say that it doesn’t have emotional moments.
SPOILER I never thought that I would be writing “spoiler” for a moment where a flying ant named Anthony (get it?) dies, but that was the saddest moment in the movie.
To sum up, I highly recommend Ant-Man. You will not regret spending the price of the ticket.

American Ultra

Go
Jesse Eisenburg (you love him or hate him) and Kristen Stewart (Bellla from Twilight) are very good in this black comedy, action adventure movie. The wanna be Bourne movie is quite entertaining. It is good to see Walton Goggins from Justified. Go, you will be pleasantly entertained.
