This is okay. I wasn’t as amused as the lady next to me. There is a good lesson here about cheating and broken dreams and how you can re-habilitate with persistence. However, with no Boo I was not interested.

If you did not live through the Viet Nam War era then I doubt you will GROK this movie. If you don’t understand the term grok please read Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein.
The cast in this movie is enormous Robert Redford, Julie Christie, Susan Sarandon, Nick Nolte, Stanley Tucci, Sam Eliot, for a few; all playing rather minor roles. I guess some director has a lot of pull!
The movie seems a little disjointed like you are supposed to know some things about the violent groups against the war. It brought up a lot of painful memories for me. I would like to rant about how Afghanistan would not last so long if we were drafting young men. The worst part of the continued wars we are having is no good songs coming out. Maybe I am just old.
One, two, three What are we fighting for. Don’t cha know I don’t give a damn get me ready for Viet Nam! And its five, six, seven open up those pearly gates.
Fun fact: pearly gates is a type of morning glory that is easy to extract LSD from.

I have always been ENCHANTED with Amy Adams, my favorite Disney princess. She does not disappoint as Lois Lane. Henry Cavill is a great Superman. Russell Crowe is good as is Laurence Fishburne. Yes, the fight scenes are too long and too many. The trouble with being super is you need super villains; however is General Zod really a villain or is he just a product of his upbringing?
The movie left me satisfied. I am sure the sequel is in the works.
p.s. Don’t mess with Superman’s mama!

Boring story about boring 27 year old trying to be an adult. Don’t waste your time or money.

I love magic. I have taken magic classes. I amaze myself when I perform a trick. This movie has Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Woody Harrelson what’s not to like. It is a revenge movie, it will keep you entertained. My only disappointment is revealing how the tricks are done. Come on we all know it is smoke and mirrors or CGI or is it? Abracadabra.
